If God is omnipotent & perfect then why did God take 9 billion years (approximate) to create the first life form on Earth? Can’t he do it all at once?

For him 9 billion is less than smallest number imaginable for us. How?

He got eternal life. He is out of time bounds.

You think if he did it in 1 second it would be better .. why because you think 1 second is small amount of time .. how is it small … relative to your life span and everything you got..

Let’s calculate how much fraction of time God took… out of his life lol..

9 billion divided by infinity…. It’s next to nothing…

So he took absolutely almost no time at all to do it.. we arw just too small with respect to that…

Also… he did what he wanted. May be he didn’t plan.. he just did what he liked when he liked.. what make you think everything is just for u?

We are part of an immensely large system … a negligible part.

Our ego make us believe that we are important. Life had existed for so long .. humans are new… I have seen humans ask this same questions why didn’t God made humans in begining why couldn’t he do it..

Question is not why he couldn’t

Question is not even why he did the way he did.

We are no one to question the time line.

We are mere characters for extremely little time of a divine infinetly long play.

If he did create universe in one go and humans in first second.. just think how would we progress as society? World is wonderful we are asking it to be boring!!!! No I won’t like that.

Also if he did that we might have asked why did he do like this why not create a prequel to that.. … we must have been like that movie Jason Bourne but without any possible answer about what the hell is going on. …

Also may be he did that exactly that.. what you asking like schrodinger (I hope I spell it correct) said consiousness shapes the universe…

Everything we see and do is just a fiction a smart universe made in an instant but with properties which make us believe it’s 9 billion years old…..

There is also a statement in philosophy.. I think therefore I am.. you can’t prove existence of anything else… you might be only consious thing in a system like (in movie) matrix made to believe that everything else exists…

So hell no we are no one to answer that yet.. at least not yet. We don’t even deserve to question why he did what he did. It’s his wish.. that’s all the answer you will get..

PS all above scenarious don’t means I believe in all those. If we talking about God (believers) there is an exact scientifically trustable story about how everything happened. Explained in religious books. You just need to find true religious books from the mythological ones.

Why don’t God make everyone happy? If he is all powerful.

To make everyone happy one must control everyone and everything. Which means end of free will. What’s the fun in that. Actually that’s nothing worth making.
Now if there is free will there is karma. Souls are numerous but limited. Which means rebirth.
Which also means previous life karma being forwarded to next one.
That also means some people even if being good in this life suffer due to previous lives.. and being bad enjoy due to previous karma..
There is a way to end all suffering that’s being free from the cycle of life and death. And the way to get that is being like God. Also God don’t only care about humans. If a human make an animal suffer he will also get the return package.
May be God was lonely and wanted to create something for fun. But surely he didn’t make people suffer for no reason. Free will makes us vulnerable to various sins which make us suffer.
Justice is what he does..
He never makes anyone suffer for no reason but can pardon a person who genuinely regrets and wants to improve.
The one who becomes like THE ONE gets free from this cycle

So the answer is God don’t make everyone happy because he is all powerful and thus gives justice.

If you believe in religion and God then there is better explanation for you.
It goes like this:

According to God there is only one happiness: Being one with God.
There is only one sadness: Being lost from God. (although you cant be lost literally because he always know where you are)

When we pray to God for worldly benefits. He may or may not give those.
Its all part of the play.
Afterall whole world is a lie. There is only one truth.

If God don’t exist, why can’t we destroy the universe?

Our ability to destroy universe is not dependent on existence of God.

A unique perspective at god which is irrefutable and non deniable.

God is beyond universe first of all.

God don’t interfere with working of universe except only when roles were created for working of universe and except when one of his beloved need him to change something.

Next thing is why can’t we destroy universe?

Answer is is immensely huge. Mind boggling huge. Extremely huge and need at least 100000 times more technology to even destroy earth then we have now.

So you want to destroy universe? Wait another hundreds or thousands years and hope society survives till then and keep developing technology to destroy universe

I think people who believe in God are fools. Am I right in believing so?

Most people are good only because they believe in God.
Religion is man made and is not believing in God (so you can’t say belief in God is cause of wars)

Believing in something is never foolish if it works for betterment. It’s better than non believing. In many ways.

Coming back to point. Belief in something is not foolish unless it costs you something more than it gives you and society. We grow as society. Don’t be selfish.

Who is God? Does god even exist? why should i care if God exist? Why cant we prove that god exist?

Atheists have always been around as long as religion and concept of God is around. Atheists have been pushing their ideas up the nose of theists no less then theists have been pushing their ideas up the atheists and people form other religion.
But neither side seem to have won the argument.
Here is a fresh brand new perspective which no one can deny (except the hard core theists who take their books literally and are therefore the cause of atheists major frustration) except those atheists who will use arguments from the same books to disprove. But what you are about to see don’t depend on those arguments and hence is non deniable.
I will be writing another post soon to tell what is the problem with atheists arguments where they prove God is impossible to exist.
Lets get to the point.
First point is the definition of God.
There is no denying that some ultimate force exists which pushed the creation (start) of universe. Lets say for once I SAY THAT FORCE IS CALLED GOD!!!
Well now you will say that don’t comply with the books and stories.
Point of the discussion was is there a perspective which no religion or common people have completely.

Now that dont fully satisfy anyone. Questions remain lurking in minds about what about all those gods and stories and creation and everything.
Lets see what we can do about it.

Everything have a reason. When we ask scientifically why something happens we try to give explanation but we cant really answer why. we can either answer how something happens and under what rules it happens.
But we can never say why it happens.
Lets talk about a simple question
why does apple fall?
Gravity pulls it
why does gravity pull?
because of universal law of gravity(well actually before formation of this law things used to pull) still lets for the sake of argument consider this
Why does universal law of gravity exist/work the way it does?
we can keep questioning and getting answers until we reach the string theory multiverse theory and so on. but we will never be able to answer that one final why which ends all this questioning.
There must be one reason /a force/ a being/ an ultimate reason for whatever happens.
I name that one to be GOD.

yes yes i can hear thats what people have been doing for eons putting blame of everyhting we dont understand on god. but no thats not what i am doing. When scientists will calculate the theory of everything and the reason being that and the ultimate reason and then they will name it according to them …. I already name it GOD. thats what god is…

I can understand your dilemma. So here is a basic but very simple explanation. (I agree it font fully answer the question but it shows you a new way of thinking. In which its possible that God does exist and provide a new way to think about God.

God is defined as all powerful (the way i defined that force or whatever you call it ) being the reason for everything is the ultimate power.
If we creation of nature can develop consciousness of this level why cant the main core reason of nature have consciousness of some type (probably beyond our grasp considering today’s knowledge?).
Even if we dont agree with 2. That ultimate why (which i say god) have rules (like some rule which created gravity) which shows how to change (like probability at quantum level) to effect the reality in ways which normally cant be processed.
Now those ways might have multiple methodologies (like instead of gravity we can use EMF to pull and push and other forces also which act at different sizes which were not perceivable in previous times like strong force which was unknown during most of science history) and those methodologies can change a few realities in ways which are not physically possible.
an example of above could be change in probability (when opening) schroedinger,s cat box.
Thus leading to something which science is yet to comprehend.

Now I have put to rest the arguments which claim an ultimate being is looking and have consciousness like we humans do.

I have put to rest the books which claim excessively impossible claims.

All i say is that the ultimate why (the Theory of everything’s creator/answer is GOD)

now creator and answer have completely different meanings till now.

its because this concept have never been introduced to the world.

Just like both alive and dead at same time was impossible to comprehend before schroedinger. But if you can just think of a word which can replace this dichotomy (creator/answer) then you have answer to what GOD IS ACCORDING TO THIS DEFINITION AND IS THUS IRREFUTABLE.

Now i can hear atheists screaming that this don’t comply with those books and so on… its just their frustration because the reasons they used to disprove something don’t even exist in this theory.

If there is no proof that god exist why should I not live my life as i want and do whatever i want?

We agree there is no proof of existence of God but there is a very strong and logical reason as to why you should care and act as if God exist. It is loosely related to Pascal’s theory! Read fully and see where it is significantly different and this extremely important.

4 scenarios can exist.

God exist you believe. You won.
God don’t exist you believe. Nothing lost.
God don’t exist you don’t believe. Nothing lost. (Except if you don’t follow ahimsa and other rules in which case a lot might be lost)
God exist you don’t believe…. (And actually do sin) Now burn in hell ..

See… you lose nothing when you believe.

You risk losing everything if you don’t believe.

Please don’t start on how religion created hate and wars..

Religion is man made concept to divide people. No messenger of god created new religion. We people started saying them with different name and hence declared them religion.
God don’t promote violence. God guides us to live most happy and peaceful healthy life possible.
People who use religion for personal profits are the ones who make point number 2 above seem impossible.

People are wrong god isn’t.

So in nutshell. Be a good person believe in god. Sometimes you may need a little fear to be good person. But if you do everything good because of fear only. You won’t achieve ultimate achievement. You will reach only heaven. God don’t want you to fear him. God loves when you love him and do anything for love. Do good deeds for his and his creations love.

You got nothing to lose.

Unless you are trying to find excuse to be bad person.. tell me God don’t exist so I can be bad. Well bad news for you bro. You won’t achieve the best. You will be stuck in cycle of life and death heaven and hell.
